Designer on the spot! From Rome… Cristina Vazzoler “Beads & Wires”

1. Cristina Vazzoler from “Beads & Wires”, designer by nature or by nurture?

I’ve always had a certain artistic sense. I studied Art and Graphic Design, I love drawing and designing. When I was a student, if I had time, I use to design clothing, jewelry and most of the time shoes and accessories. I adore earrings and I’ve always worn them and bought them, so one day I asked my self if I should design them. Why not creating them! Since that day, years ago now, I never stopped designing and creating, I get the inspiration in every thing I see around me: colors, landscapes, places, smells and flavors. Beads & Wires was born from the intersection of my love of art, the colors and shapes, the accessories and fashion. That is why in my blog, everyday, I look for the combination of one of my pieces in an outfit.

2. In which designer would you have like to reincarnate? 

Every designer or artist has their own style that reflects their personality. However, if I have to give a name, I am a great admirer of Yvone Chista, and this I can’t hide J

3. Do you get inspiration while working or suddenly inspiration comes up?

Inspiration starts with observation. I am a great observer, I am curious, I search, look and invent. I draw combining colors in every thing I do (even in the kitchen). Inspiration for a new collection can come during a trip, but it can also come at night right before starting to dream.

I never stop designing, even in an imaginary way.

4. A challenge for “Beads & Wires” is…

To be able to take my creations to the city I love the most, and sell them in a little boutique in the city of New York

5. Something that you would never dare to design…

I don’t limit my imagination, but what I wouldn’t dare to make is someone else’s creation :)

6. Define your designs in three words…

Feminine, colorful and unique (I only create one piece for each design)

7. Are you loyal to yourself or your audience?

I am loyal to myself, to my instinct, to my taste…however, sometimes my taste is a little committed ;)

8. Your last acquisition is… 

A ticket to go to New York. I go in the search of inspiration, materials, trends, novelties…

9. An indulgence you can’t afford… 

Stop creating

10. Who would you love to wear your designs? 

Every woman that wants to feel feminine, even if that is only in the small details.

11. Do you have any advice for someone willing to follow your steps?

Be passionate, and don’t loose hope and faith in your own capacities. Be always ready to learn. Do not stop trying, even if in the beginnings it is hard and devote a lot of time. After all, you need to have always a lot, a whole lot of curiosity.

Desde Roma… Cristina Vazzoler de “Beads & Wires” 

1. Beads & Wires, ¿amor a primera vista o una larga amistad?

Siempre he tenido una cierta sensibilidad artística. Estudié Arte y Diseño gráfico, me encanta dibujar y diseñar. Cuando estudiaba, si me daba tiempo, diseñaba ropa, joyas y sobretodo zapatos y accesorios. Soy una amante de los pendientes y siempre los he llevado y comprado. así que un día me pregunté si debía diseñarlos. por que no crearlos yo misma! Desde aquel día, hace algunos años ya, nunca he parado de diseñar y crear, inspirándome en casi cualquier cosa que veo a mi alrededor: colores, paisajes, lugares, olores y sabores. Beads & Wires nace de la unión de mi pasión por el arte, los colores y las formas, de los accesorios y de la moda. También, por esto en mi Blog, busco siempre la combinación de una de mis piezas con un look, como hago yo todos los días.

2. ¿En qué diseñador de (moda/complementos) te gustaría haberte reencarnado?

Cada diseñador o artista tiene un estilo propio que refleja su personalidad. Aunque si tengo que dar un nombre, soy una gran admiradora de Yvone Christa, y esto no puedo esconderlo :)

3. ¿Te inspiras sin parar de trabajar o se te enciende una bombilla de repente?
La inspiración nace observando. Soy una gran observadora, soy curiosa, busco, miro e invento. Dibujo y combino colores en cada cosa que hago (incluso en la cocina). La inspiración para una nueva colección puede nacer durante un viaje, pero también puede nacer durante la noche justo antes de empezar a soñar.

No paro nunca de diseñar aunque sea de modo imaginario.

4. Un reto para Cristina Vazzoler de “Beads & Wires” es…
Poder llevar mis creaciones a la ciudad que más me gusta, y venderlas en una pequeña tienda de la ciudad de Nueva York.

5. Un objeto que nunca os atreverías a diseñar…

No pondría nunca límites a mi imaginación.. pero a lo que seguramente nunca me atrevería es a hacer una creación de otro diseñador ;)

6. Resume tus diseños en tres palabras…

Femeninos, coloridos y únicos (realizo siempre sólo una pieza de cada diseño)

7. ¿Eres fiel a ti misma o al público?

Soy fiel a mi misma, a mi instinto, a mi gusto… aunque a veces tengo un gusto algo comprometido ;)

8. Tu última adquisición…

Un billete para ir a Nueva York. Voy en busca de inspiración, materiales, tendencias, novedades….

9. Un capricho que no te puedes permitir…

Dejar de crear.

10. ¿A quién te encantaría poner una de tus piezas?

A todas las mujeres que les gusta sentirse femeninas, aunque sólo sea en los pequeños detalles.

11. ¿Algún consejo para los que quieren seguir tus pasos?

Poner pasión, no perder nunca la esperanza y la fe en tus propias capacidades. Estar siempre predispuesta a aprender. No desistir aunque los comienzos sean un poco difíciles y dedicarle mucho tiempo. En definitiva, se necesita tener siempre mucha, muchísima curiosidad.
